This mounting rail from ASG is used to raise existing 21 mm Picatinny rails and was originally developed for M4 / AR15 weapon models. It raises the rail by 25 mm, allowing more comfortable aiming at targets using a wide variety of optics. In addition, fixed iron sights can still be used through the built-in sight tunnel, so no functionality is lost. For mounting, the rail is screwed firmly onto the weapon rail with two large screws.
