- Versatile scales & integrated magnifying glass for map work
- Luminous markings and declination scale for optimal readability
The Origin Outdoors Compass “Discovery” is a reliable navigation tool for anyone who wants to move precisely and safely in the field. Equipped with a 360° rotatable housing, it allows quick and accurate alignment to determine your direction of travel. The integrated sighting mirror with sighting aperture ensures particularly precise targeting of distant objects.
The robust acrylic glass housing is shock-resistant and transparent for a clear view of the map. The printed scales in mm, inch, 1:24,000 and 1:50,000 make the compass highly versatile – whether for hiking maps or specialized topographic maps. A built-in magnifier helps you recognize fine details, while luminous markings make operation at dusk or in the dark easier.
The declination scale allows you to correct magnetic deviation, increasing accuracy in navigation. Compact and lightweight, the Discovery is perfect for hikes, expeditions and outdoor adventures.
