The Petromax reflector shade HK350/HK500 focuses the light from the Petromax lamp and reflects it downwards. This offers several advantages: If the lamp is mounted in an elevated position, for example using the lamp holder, no light is lost upwards. This allows the lamp to illuminate a larger area with maximum efficiency. When viewed from above, the reflector shade acts as a glare shield.
