The Petzl Falcon Mountain harness in black and gray is a particularly suitable harness for rescue operations that are carried out using the lead climbing technique. The harness has a ventral attachment eyelet with a textile bar that facilitates movement using the lead climbing technique and improves comfort when walking.
The seat harness is designed to be ultra-light and comfortable. Both the hip belt and the leg loops are semi-rigid and narrow with 3D foam padding. This achieves an optimal balance between comfort, weight and volume savings. The hip belt is cut narrower especially at the hips to allow more comfort and freedom of movement when approaching and working on the ground. For occasional use, side attachment eyelets made of webbing are provided, which reduce the pack size and weight.
The harness is ergonomically designed and equipped with small self-locking DOUBLEBACK buckles that allow for quick and easy adjustment. The RING2RING accessory can be attached to the ventral attachment eyelet to better organize the equipment to be attached, such as a lanyard, descender, rope clamp or chest strap. The harness also has a plastic loop on the back to which a TOP or TOP CROLL L chest strap can be attached.
The harness has four gear loops, including two large, rigid loops at the front for easy access to equipment, and two small, flexible loops at the back that don't interfere when wearing a backpack. The harness also has two attachment points for CARITOOL tool holders.
