The knife also includes a marlin spike, which is used to pry open hardened knots. The marlin spike is also equipped with a shackle and bottle opener to help you in various situations. The blades of the Seenotretter 01 are held securely in position by a robust slip-joint mechanism. This mechanism ensures that the blades are firmly closed when not in use, while also making it easier to open with one hand during use. To ensure maximum durability and reliability, solid domehead rivets have been used instead of screws.
