The Smoke-X Army is a heavier smoke grenade with a military look. Like the original models, it has a safety pin at the top that blocks the actual fuse or spoon. To ignite the grenade, this pin must be removed, after which the grenade can be thrown. Once ignition starts, the grenade releases a very dense and powerful smoke for about 60 seconds, making it ideal for signalling or, as with its military counterpart, for obscuring the enemy’s view. This makes the Smoke-X Army particularly suitable for airsoft or paintball games and allows the tactical use of smoke.
