The Smoke-X Impact is a medium-weight, handy smoke grenade that burns “cold” and can therefore even be held in the hand while burning. The grenade reaches a maximum temperature of about 40°C. The SX-1 is ignited using an impact fuse built into the base of the grenade. To do this, remove the safety pin at the bottom of the grenade and then strike the grenade against a solid surface. This triggers ignition and produces smoke for about 70 seconds. The smoke is very dense and is ideal for signaling or for obscuring vision, e.g. in airsoft or paintball games.
