The Tatonka touring backpack Pyrox 45+10 is the ideal companion for hut tours, short trekking tours or as a travel backpack.
With its X Light Vario carrying system, it offers an extremely lightweight construction and maximum stability. The special back construction combined with the lateral stabilization ensures excellent carrying comfort. The three-part hip belt with lumbar padding, the two comfortable hip wings and a concave back padding give you additional support and relieve your shoulders. The two x-shaped crossed fiberglass rods efficiently transfer the load to the ergonomically shaped, padded hip belt. The chest strap is height-adjustable and the hip belt tension has been redirected so that you can adjust it more easily.
The backpack offers numerous practical pockets to optimally organize your equipment. The main and bottom compartments can be quickly loaded separately thanks to the large front opening and the lid has a zipped compartment. There is a patch pocket on the hip belt, ideal for small items that need to be quickly accessible. Side mesh pockets offer additional storage space for water bottles or other utensils. The zipped front pocket and the first aid compartment (empty) allow easy access to important things.
The backpack is equipped with a stuff sack with a snow guard that protects your equipment from snow and moisture. It also has a hiking pole and ice axe holder as well as load control straps that enable optimal weight distribution. The side compression with lockable buckle keeps the backpack securely together and the all-round bottom compression provides additional stability.
The backpack has a front and rear handle to make it easier to carry and stow. A key holder ensures that you always have your keys close at hand.
