Meindl – shoe craftsmanship with tradition

It was 1683 when the shoemaker Petrus Meindl was first mentioned in documents. Since then, the family business in Kirchanschöring, Bavaria, near Lake Waginger, has felt committed to the tradition of craftsmanship. The company's maxim is to produce high-quality footwear for the demanding outdoor market. Meindl focuses on quality. Over 200 work steps are required to produce a pair of the durable trekking shoes. With more than 200 employees, the family business now also manufactures for the international market.
