PPD - ammunition box LWAC M2A1 Nato

The LWAC M2A1 NATO ammunition box is a lightweight and efficient solution for the safe storage and transport of ammunition. It is over 68% lighter than conventional steel boxes, which reduces the overall weight. Thanks to improved stacking capabilities, it can be stably stacked crosswise or vertically, making optimal use of the storage space. Its thermal insulation protects the ammunition by reducing heat transfer.

The box is compatible with RFID tags, allowing tracking and control. Its low noise levels when in contact with steel surfaces make it ideal for quiet work, especially in discreet operations. There is also no risk of sparks and it is fully compatible with traditional steel boxes.

The ammunition box is environmentally friendly because it is completely recyclable and reusable. It offers complete protection from water and air and thus ensures optimal weather protection. With a high load capacity of up to 21.5 kg, it is extremely robust.

The classification according to DEF-STAN 81-41 as "CLASS J" guarantees excellent storage conditions, including a worldwide shelf life of at least 2 years with full weather protection (-54 to +71 degrees) as well as 1 year of outdoor storage under NATO conditions. The box is designed for all transport and handling methods.

In terms of UN-ADR dangerous goods classifications, it covers UN-V (5.5 kg, packing groups I, II and III), UN-X (13.5 kg, packing groups I, II and III) and UN-Y (21.5 kg, packing groups II and III). The box is available with the NSN numbers: Green: 8140-22-630-8524, Sand: 8115-22-631-9402.
