The rifle was developed in the 1950s by the Armalite company after a desire for a format between a submachine gun and a rifle was expressed. Armalite later sold the rights to the AR-15 to the Colt company. Since the 1960s it has been better known as the M16. By 1985, over 6 million M16s had been produced. Even today, numerous units, such as the Air Force, Navy Seals, etc., rely on this classic.
The detailed replica from the GSG Sport series with a maximum energy of 0.5 joules can be operated in semi- and fully automatic mode and is supplied with extensive accessories. The integrated spin-up system ensures greater precision and an optimized hit pattern by stabilizing the bullet's trajectory. The AR-15 has a sliding stock, a red dot (battery included), a front grip and a barrel extension. The delivery includes a battery (Ni-Mh 7.2 volts - 500 mAh), a suitable charger, charging rod and some BBs.
