The ground and medium-weight head makes the Ekelund axe ideal for skinning game and simple forestry work. The hand-forged tool is made from Swedish quality steel. The head is struck 40 - 60 times to increase the material density and durability. The axe is named after the squire Gunnar Ekelund.
