The US shovel of the 2nd generation can be folded three times and thus transported in a space-saving way in the supplied pouch. The serrated side of the shovel blade can be used as a saw for smaller jobs and makes it easier to dig up harder ground. The step edge simplifies inserting the shovel without slipping.
