The new FFP3 protection class respirator mask offers the greatest possible protection against air pollution such as toxic and harmful dust, smoke and aerosols. The use of an FFP3 mask is also recommended when dealing with carcinogenic or radioactive substances and pathogens such as viruses. It can be used in work environments in which the workplace limit is exceeded by up to 30 times the industry-specific value, for example in the chemical industry.
