Whistle for the Base Camp and Scout models. The metal whistle in the green rubber cover fits old and new Kelly Kettly models and signals with a whistle when the water is boiling.
The whistle is not to be confused with the orange plug on some older models, which must be removed before use!

Use:
Do not fill the kettle completely. Place the green whistle loosely and carefully on the water spout, following the direction of the arrow so that the hot steam escapes downwards. Do not push the whistle into the opening, so it can be easily removed again. When the water boils, remove the kettle from the heat and leave to stand for about 1 minute. Hold the handle with one hand. Remove the whistle with the other hand by gently pulling. Then pour the water out of the kettle as usual.
