This dagger was developed to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the GIS (Grupo Intervenzione Speziale, the Italian Carabinieri's special anti-terrorist unit). The short handguard prevents entanglement during close combat. Thanks to its specially designed handle, the dagger sits comfortably in the hand and can be wielded with confidence. The operativo version is burnished, without any military markings, and comes with a Cordura sheath.
