The Smoke-X SX-13 is a handy pyrotechnic or distress flare that burns “cold” and can therefore even be held in the hand while burning. The SX-13 is ignited by pulling a cord at the top end and then emits smoke and a bright light for about 60 seconds. The smoke development is strong and can therefore be optimally perceived as a signal in emergency situations. The flare is therefore to be used only for its intended technical purpose.
